They are 100% in love with themselves.
They love their looks…their thoughts… attention…status.
And they just love to be flattered.

BOTTOM LINE:

When it comes to “keeping up with the Joneses," they want to BE the Joneses. So you better believe they are going to buy ANYTHING that will make them look important.

The best car
The best clothes
The best investments
The biggest and the best toys…

Anything and everything that can stroke their egos and make them feel good about themselves is more likely to make a sale.

They are like mice that are always on the hunt for the cheese.

But in their case, they want to be THE BIG CHEESE--the smartest guy in the room, if you will, that always wants to be admired and respected.
Not only that--they want it ALL NOW!

This is why narcissists are some of the easiest people to sell to.

I learned that lesson years ago selling investment newsletters and trading advisories.

It was the easiest gig you could ask for-- helping rich people get richer.

This is why “The $3 Secret Stock That Will Make You a Millionaire” was one of my biggest email promotions.

Because all the narcissist that lie inside all investors would come out to scoop it up!

And boy did they.

Over and over and over and over.

I made a great living doing this: selling the secret stock that would make you rich.

To be sure, the headlines were always different...

But the CHEESE was always the same: Wealth through the ownership of stocks.

I would do it the same way almost every time by:

Appealing to their need for greater wealth.
Highlighting how “The secret stock” will make them the smartest guy in the room.
Using language that flatters and praises their wisdom and vision.
Emphasizing the exclusivity by owning this secret stock before it made millions.
Positioning it as something that only the most successful or elite individuals have access to.
Appealing to their sense of status and motivating them to make a purchase.
Using words and phrases that make them feel admired and respected.

This is why my copy sold well over $100 million dollars and made me a millionaire copywriter along the way.

By selling the narcissist what they wanted:

More money
More wealth
More prestige

It was like taking candy from a baby.

One of my greatest examples can be found in this email/landing page I wrote for the Cabot Market Letter called "The $3 Secret Stock That Could Make You a Millionaire".

It played directly into virtually everything the narcissist desired:

Wealth,
Status,
Admiration, and
Exclusivity.

In it, you'll see how I not only created a compelling story that could hand investors Tesla-like profits but never named the stock or actually told them what the secret is!

That made them want it even more.

I made them salivate so much (like a cookie to a dog) that they were willing to spend--hold onto your hat--$997 just to get their hands on the name of that stock, along with a year’s membership into an exclusive wealth club.

I have used this framework over and over with incredible success.

That’s what makes selling to narcissists the easiest sale in the world.
